Systematic review of prognostic studies

A form of knowledge synthesis that summarizes and analyzes evidence from prognostic studies in a systematic review and meta-analysis. Prognosis studies seek to understand average (overall) prognosis, prognostic factors, risk prediction models, and treatment effect modification. 9

Meta-analysis

In the context of a systematic review, a meta-analysis is a statistical technique for combining data from multiple studies on a particular topic. 3
